PADI Search and Recovery Specialty Diver

Have you ever dropped something in the water? Are you looking for lost “treasure”?
The PADI Search and Recovery Specialty Diver course will teach you effective ways to find objects underwater and bring them to the surface. Small, large or just awkward, there is a way to bring them up.
Many factors must be considered when a team plans a search and recovery dive, this will alter how they search and the recovery methods used to achieve the end result. You will learn to asses these factors during the course.
The course can be challenging, but a lot of fun.
During four scuba dives you’ll practice:
- Conducting search patterns using your compass and natural navigation.
- Locating objects using various search patterns
- Using a lift bag to surface large or heavy objects
- Planning a search operation based on facts gathered about the lost object prior to the dive
